    The Professional Squash Association's World Series starts tomorrow, June 6th and runs through June 10th. Featuring the top 8 men and top 8 women squash players in the world, the World Series Finals is the culmination of all the season's tournaments up until this point. Harrow Sports is proud to have three of our sponsored players competing in the prestigious event taking place in Dubai.   • Marwan El Shorbagy is PSA Player of the Month

    Marwan ElShorbagy has been named the Professional Squash Association Player of the Month for February 2017. Currently World No. 7, just yesterday Marwan reached the first World Series Final of his career, the Windy City Open in Chicago. The Open saw another first for Marwan--the first time ever that he has defeated World No. 1 Mohamed ElShorbagy, his brother.

  • PSA December Rankings: El Welily & Gawad both World. No 2

    The December 2016 rankings marks a first for #TeamHarrow, as two ELITE Team Members have risen to World. No 2! In the women's rankings, Raneem El Welily is second in the world, while Karim Abdel Gawad is World No 2 for Men.

    Also in the top 10 for Women are Amanda Sobhy and Omneya Abdel Kawy.  Annie Au, Joshna Chinappa, Heba El Torky, and Donna Urquhart round out the top 20.

    In the men's rankings, Marwan ElShorbagy rose one position from last month, up to number 6. Also in the top 20 are Tarek Momen and Ryan Cuskelly.

  • ATHLETE NEWS - NOVEMBER 2016

    Announced November 1st, this month's PSA World Rankings counted Raneem El Welily, Amanda Sobhy and Omneya Abdel Kawy in the Women's Top 10 as well as Karim Abdel Gawad, Marwan ElShorbagy, and Tarek Momen in the Top 10 for Men.

    After three turns at the Olympic Games, Rachel Dawson ended her prestigious career on a high note, formally retiring November 3rd after a stellar performance at the Rio Games this past summer.

    On November 4th, Karim Abdel Gawad became the 2016 PSA Men's World Champion, beating out three-time winner Ramy Ashour at the Wadi Degla club in Cairo, Egypt.

    On the same day, Raneem El Welily became the inaugural Women's Wadi Degla Open winner, defeating World No. 3 Nouran Gohar.

    Continuing an impeccable month of performances, Karim Gawad claimed the 2016 Qatar Classic Champion title on November 18th. The win marks Karim's third major win this season, his second time defeating World No. 1 Mohamed ElShorbagy, and his first World Series title.

    PSA Road to Dubai Standings were released November 21st, and Karim Abdel Gawad came out on top, 25 points ahead of the World No. 1. Rounding out the top standings are ELITE Team's Ryan Cuskelly and Marwan ElShorbagy, tying for 8th.

    Women's Standings place Amanda Sobhy in third, Raneeem El Welily 6th, and Annie Au and Joshna Chinappa tied in 10th.

    Points for Dubai are accumulated at each PSA World Series tournament and determine standings. Only the top 8 players will qualify for the 2016/2017 Dubai PSA World Series Finals.

    Released today, the Professional Squash Association's Road to Dubai Standings place #TeamHarrow's Karim Abdel Gawad in the Number 1 slot, 25 points ahead of current world No. 1 Mohamed ElShorbagy. The announcement comes after Gawad's string of wins including the Qatar Classic and the PSA Men's World Championship.

    Also in the Men's top positions are Harrow's Ryan Cuskelly and Marwan ElShorbagy, both tied for 6th.

    The Women's Road to Dubai Standings place #TeamHarrow's Amanda Sobhy third and Raneem El Welily 6th. Just out of the top 8 we see Annie Au and Joshna Chinappa tied for 10th, with Omneya Abdel Kawy and Donna Urquhart both in 15th.

    Points are up for grabs at each PSA World Series tournament and determine the Standings. Only the top eight players will qualify for the 2016/17 Dubai PSA World Series Finals, which take place June 6 - 10 at the Dubai Opera House.

    Congratulations to all #TeamHarrow Players announced in the Professional Squash Association's Top 20 World Rankings! In the Women's Rankings, Harrow ELITE Team players include Raneem El Welily, Amanda Sobhy, Omneya Abdel Kawy, Annie Au, Joshna Chinappa, and Rachael Grinham.

  • Two of #TeamHarrow Make it to Hong Kong Open Finals, Amanda Sobhy and Karim Abdel Gawad

    The 2016 Hong Hong Open Championships mark the official start of professional squash season, and for the first time in history, Harrow sponsored athletes occupied 3 of the 8 spots in the Semi Finals in this duel World Series event, with Amanda Sobhy and Karim Abdel Gawad making it through to the Finals, and Ryan Cuskelly in the Semi's.

    Saturday's Semi Finals saw a Harrow vs. Harrow battle, with Karim competing against Ryan Cuskelly, and Gawad ultimately pulling through to a 3-1 win.

    The men's Round 2 featured #TeamHarrow's Marwan ElShorbagy and Tarek Momen, decked out in ELITE Team gear.

    In the women's event, Omneya Abdel Kawy made it to the Quarters. While, Round 2 saw a pack of ELITE Team players with Annie Au, Joshna Chinappa and Raneem El Welily.

    With six Harrow athletes seeded in the top 10, and a dominant performance by all, the Hong Kong Open results certainly signal a strong year for the ELITE Team.

    HARROW ELITE TEAM'S ANNIE AU BECAME THE 2016 WOMEN'S HONG KONG NATIONALS CHAMPION. THIS WIN MARKS THE 5TH CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE FOR AU. TAKING PLACE JUNE 13 - 18 AT THE HONG KONG SQUASH CENTRE IN HONG KONG, ANNIE BEAT JOEY CHAN 11-6, 11-6, 8-11, 11-8. WORLD.

    After a stellar 15-year professional squash career, Harrow ELITE Team member Laurens Jan Anjema announced his retirement from professional squash on June 28th. The 33-year-old Dutchman had a triumphant career, lifting 12 titles and becoming the highest ranked Dutch player of all time.  A ten-time Dutch champion with his most recent win this past February, LJ reached a career high ranking of World No. 9 in 2010.

    HARROW SIGNS PLATFORM TENNIS #1

    On July 1st, #1 American Platform Tennis player Drew Broderick signed with Harrow.     JOSHNA CRACKS THE TOP 10

    With the announcement of the PSA rankings on July 1st, #TeamHarrow's Joshna Chinappa achieved a career high ranking--No. 10 in the world. Joshna is only the second Indian female player in history to crack the top 10. Elsewhere in the top 10 are ELITE Team players Raneem El Welily at No.3, Amanda Sobhy at No. 7, and Omneya Abdel Kawy at No. 8. Congrats to all!

  • Draw for 1st PSA Tournament Announced - 12 Players From #TeamHarrow !

    Released today, the draw for the opening tournament of this year's Professional Squash Association Series includes twelve members of Harrow's ELITE Team in the first round.  Taking place August 23rd, the Hong Kong Open features the top players in the world and is in it's 31st year.

    For these elite players, Hong Kong marks the first step in the long journey to the World Series in Dubai at season's end, June 5-9 2017. Only the top 8 men and women in the world make it to Dubai, with points accumulating the moment they hit the court in Hong Kong.
