  • #TeamHarrow's Marwan ElShorbagy in Copa Sin Límites, But There's a Twist

    This month sees the debut of a brand new Squash event like no other:

    Taking place June 11th in Mexico, Copa Sin Límites (translation: "Cup Without Limits") is an Exhibition Cup made up of six of the best players in the world; three from Egypt and three from Latin America. Egyptian players will play Latin American players in a country versus country battle.

    Harrow's Marwan ElShorbagy, World No. 6 and this year's recipient of the Professional Squash Association's PSA Young player of the Year distinction will face off against the former Junior World Champion, Peru's Diego Elias. A match that everyone in Mexico and Latin America is anticipating, Marwan and Diego last played in Guatemala's Sporta IX Torneo Internacional PSA Sporta 2016, with Elias beating ElShortbgay 3-0.

    Distinguishing itself from other events, entrance into Copa Sin Límites in completely free to the public; something completely new. This initiative promotes visibility for the sport, offering people the opportunity to enjoy a world class event they might not be able to otherwise.

  • Marwan El Shorbagy Crowned Professional Squash Association Young Player of the Year


    #TeamHarrow's Marwan El Shorbagy, World No. 7, has been named the PSA Men's Young Player of the Year following the conclusion of the World Series Finals in Dubai. At 22-years-old, Marwan was a breakout star athlete this season, winning both the Grasshopper Cup and the Houston open. Marwan also cracked the top ten ranking for the first time this year. Congratulations Marwan, and go #TeamHarrow!!

    After a 62 minute battle, Raneem El Welily lost 3-2 to Laura Massaro at the PSA Dubai World's Series Finals. Raneem had an amazing tournament, looking forward to see her on court on the next season.

    The PSA World Series Finals is the final tournament of the season, taking place in front of the world's tallest building--the Burj Khalifa--in Dubai May 24-28.  The event features the top eight men and women in the world, based on a season's worth of competition.


    Raneem (1)

    Named PSA Women's Player of the year in May 2015, Raneem El Welily had strong performances in 2016, including claiming the Windy City Open title this past March, and making it to the Quarter Final at the Allam British Open, and the Semi Final of the NAZA PSA Women's World Championship. Ranked #3 in the World, Raneem is the #4 Seed in the World Series. Raneem has been playing with Harrow's Vapor Racquet all season.


    Omneya (1)

    Egypt's Omneya Abdel Kawy comes to the World Series Finals after an impressive year including Quarter Final finishes at the Tournament of Champions, Windy City Open, Allam British Open, and the NAZA PSA Women's World Championship. Currently World No. 7, Omenya is the 7 Seed going into Dubai. Omneya will hit the glass court with Harrow's Stealth Racquet.


    Amanda (1)

    The sole United States-born World Series competitor, Amanda Sobhy has had an outstanding year; her first as a full-time squash professional. Currently Number 8 in the world, Sobhy's road to Dubai included a runner up finish at the Tournament of Champions, Quarter Final's at the Cleveland Classic, Quarter Finals at the Windy City Open, Allam British Open, and NAZA PSA Women's World Championship. The Dubai World Series Finals See No. 8, Sobhy will be using the custom "THE BEAST" Clutch racquet that she designed.

  • Marwan ElShorbagy Claims Houston Open; 6th PSA Title


    DENVER, CO - MAY 16, 2016 - Harrow Sports is thrilled to announce that Elite Team member Marwan Elshorbagy has won the Houston Open 2016, his 6th PSA title. Seeded first, ElShorbagy won his first game 11-7, 11-9 in the second, and successive victories 11-9 and 11-3 to claim the title. ElShorbagy defeated fellow Egyptian Mohamed Abouelghar 3-1 in the final. Marwan is currently #7 in the world.

    Elite Team Member Ryan Cuskelly was seeded second and reached the semi-finals.  Harrow's Elite Team is made up of top Harrow­-sponsored Professional Squash Players from around the world.

    Marwan Elshorbagy racked up an impressive string of successes, claiming his first PSA M70 crown over Gregory Gaultier in the final of the Grasshopper Cup, and then making it to the quarter-final of the El Gouna International.





    Eleven Harrow Elite Women competed in the Naza PSA Women’s World Championship, with members Amanda Sobhy, Omneya Abdel Kawy, and Raneem El Welily making it to the Quarters and Welily  going on to the Semis. Congratulations to all!




    Nele Gilis clinched the 2016 Paderborn Open Title, her second PSA World Crown this second.

  • Harrow ELITE Team's Nele Gilis Claims Paderborn Open Title

    DENVER, CO - APRIL 11, 2016 - Harrow Sports is pleased to announce Harrow Elite Team's Nele Gilis has clinched the 2016 Paderborn Open Title. The No. 1 seed, Nele overcame Egypt's Nada Abbas in three straight games, marking the second PSA World Tour crown for Gilis this season.


    After three consecutive victories, including a win over her sister Tinne Gilis in the quarter final, Nele triumphed against Abbas in 36 minutes; 3 - 0: 11-2, 11-2, 11-9. The Paderborn Open took place April 6 - 9 in Paderborn Germany and is part of the Professional Squash Association World Tour.

    The line-up for the Women's Dubai PSA World Series Finals has been confirmed, and Harrow ELITE Team's Raneem El Welily, Omneya Abdel Kawy, and Amanda Sobhy make the top 8. Amanda Sobhy will become the first American woman ever to compete at the World Series Finals.

    The Dubai PSA World Series Finals takes place May 24 - 28 in Dubai. The top eight squash players in the world will come together in two groups of four, with players playing a round-robin best-of-three series for a place in the knockout semi-finals and beyond for a chance to win the prestigious title. Close to cracking the top 8 are ELITE Team members Annie Au, Joshna Chinappa, and Heba El Torky.
