After a 62 minute battle, Raneem El Welily lost 3-2 to Laura Massaro at the PSA Dubai World’s Series Finals. Raneem had an amazing tournament, looking forward to see her on court on the next season.

Round Three: PSA WORLD SERIES FINALS dreams come to an end for two of our Harrow Elite Team members; Amanda Sobhy and Omneya Abdel Kawy. An impressive season for both athletes, we would like to congratulate them and wish them a good summer. We will be looking forward to see you back on court soon!

With three wins in a row, Raneem arrives in the Semi-Finals undefeated, qualifying at the top of group B. Tomorrow she will be facing Nicol David, the #3 seed. Winner will make it to the finals.

Round One: Amazing matches for the three Harrow Elite Team Players, with Raneem El Welily being the Harrow player to win her match of the night. Our team gave a really good performance,  and we are looking forward for the rest of the group matches.

The PSA World Series Finals is the final tournament of the season, taking place in front of the world’s tallest building–the Burj Khalifa–in Dubai May 24-28.  The event features the top eight men and women in the world, based on a season’s worth of competition.

Named PSA Women’s Player of the year in May 2015, Raneem El Welily had strong performances in 2016, including claiming the Windy City Open title this past March, and making it to the Quarter Final at the Allam British Open, and the Semi Final of the NAZA PSA Women’s World Championship. Ranked #3 in the World, Raneem is the #4 Seed in the World Series. Raneem has been playing with Harrow’s Vapor Racquet all season.

Omneya

Egypt’s Omneya Abdel Kawy comes to the World Series Finals after an impressive year including Quarter Final finishes at the Tournament of Champions, Windy City Open, Allam British Open, and the NAZA PSA Women’s World Championship. Currently World No. 7, Omenya is the 7 Seed going into Dubai. Omneya will hit the glass court with Harrow’s Stealth Racquet.

Amanda

Amanda (1)

The sole United States-born World Series competitor, Amanda Sobhy has had an outstanding year; her first as a full-time squash professional. Currently Number 8 in the world, Sobhy’s road to Dubai included a runner up finish at the Tournament of Champions, Quarter Final’s at the Cleveland Classic, Quarter Finals at the Windy City Open, Allam British Open, and NAZA PSA Women’s World Championship. The Dubai World Series Finals See No. 8, Sobhy will be using the custom “THE BEAST” Clutch racquet that she designed.
