[ 8/29/16 ]Two of #TeamHarrow Make it to Hong Kong Open Finals, Amanda Sobhy and Karim Abdel Gawad

The 2016 Hong Hong Open Championships marked the official start of professional squash season, and for the first time in history, Harrow sponsored athletes occupied 3 of the 8 spots in the Semi Finals in this duel World Series event, with Amanda Sobhy and Karim Abdel Gawad making it through to the Finals, and Ryan Cuskelly in the Semi’s.

2016 European Individual Squash Championship took place in Prague , Czech Republic September 7 – 10 and saw Harrow ELITE Team Member Nele Gilis  place in the runner up position, second only to the top seed, Camille Serme.

[ 9/19/16 ] Cuskelly is Runner Up at Harrow Charlottesville Open!

Australian #2 and #TeamHarrow athlete Ryan Cuskelly headlined the 2016 Harrow Charlottesville Open, PSA M25 which took place September 14 – 17 at the McArthur Squash Center at Boar’s Head Sports Club in Virginia. No. 16 in the World, Cuskelly was top seed and after breezing through to the finals,  gave a riveting  performance and came in second place in the decisive fifth.

Harrow sponsored professional squash player Maria Toorpakai Wazir received international coverage this past spring for revealing that as a young girl in her native Pakistan, she made the decision to pose as a male in order to play squash. Her story has now been made into a documentary: GIRL UNBOUND: The War to Be Her

[ 9/23/16 ] #TeamHarrow Sweeps Al-Ahram Squash Open: Raneem El Welily & Karim Abdel Gawad Are 2016 CHAMPIONS!

Our ELITE Team members Raneem El Welily and Karim Abdel Gawad claimed both the Men’s and Women’s titles at the 2016 Al-Ahram Squash Open. Playing in front of the pyramids in Cairo, Egypt, Raneem defeated No. 1 seed Nour El Sherbini in 5 games, while Karim pulled off a win against Ali Farag in just 3!
