Darien defies the elements to win its third straight field hockey league championship

Not even a steady rain could stop Darien on Thursday at New Canaan High School in the FCIAC field hockey finals, where Darien won 3-0 to earn its third straight league title, a stretch during which the Connecticut team has compiled a 56-3-1 record. Read more at the Stamford Advocate.
