Darien works double-time to reach semis in Connecticut Class M tournament

After making easy work of their first round opponents, both Darien and Wilton had to dig deeper in Thursday’s Class M quarterfinal game. Darien’s Blue Wave needed double-overtime to punch their ticket to the semifinals, winning a thrilling 1-0 decision over the Warriors. Next up for Darien on the road to winning its third-straight championship: the Tigers of Daniel Hand, who beat Nonnewaug 3-1 in the quarterfinals. Read more at the Greenwich Time.
