Eastern looks at home in playoff rout, even though they weren’t at home

Turns out, it doesn’t really matter what kind of surface the Eastern Regional High School field hockey team plays on. The 10-time defending state Group IV champion and third-seeded Vikings weren’t home on their artificial turf, but they looked just as potent on grass as they breeezed to a 10-0 win over Clearview in an NSJIAA South Jersey Group IV semifinal playoff game Saturday.
