Finalists set for state titles in Maryland 3A, 4A divisions

Blake High School whipped Northern 6-0 Monday night in the Maryland 3A field hockey state semifinals, keyed by Justine Allen’s four goals. The Bengals, who have never won a state title, will play in Saturday’s state championship game at Washington College against Hereford, which defeated Mount Hebron, 4-1. Severna Park rolled to a 5-0 victory over Dulaney in the 4A semifinals, lifting the four-time defending state champion Falcons into their 24th state final on Saturday against Westminster, a 4-0 winner over Paint Branch.
