Ally Orrico, the Greenwich High field hockey coach, didn’t need much time to assess her team’s 2-1 loss to Ridgefield on Monday, a game in which the winning goal looked more like a field goal from a football game than a field hockey worm-burner. “Sometimes the ball bounces funny,” said Orrico.
