January was a busy month for #teamharrow athletes…

The 2016 Midwestern Grand Prix was the penultimate leg of the American Platform Tennis Association’s Grand Prix series, taking place January 8-10 in Cincinnati, OH.

In the men’s quarterfinals, Harrow’s Martin Bostrom and Sebastian Bredberg won three-set battles in the second and the third rounds, and went on to beat their competitors in two sets in the quarters. Bostrom and Bredberg made it to the semi-finals, placing 4th in Blanchard Cup Standings. Both players use the Ballistic Platform Tennis Paddle.

On January 9th, Harrow Canada sponsored professionals Nick Sachvie and Mike McCue capture Gold for Ontario in the Canadian Team Championships

Harrow Field Hockey’s Rachel Dawson held a yoga clinic for athletes with Freedom Hockey Club in Annapolis, MD on January 18th.

The Harrow Greenwich Invitational squash tournament took place January 23 – 25th at The Field Club of Greenwich, Greenwich Country Club and Round Hill Club. One of the most prominent Squash events in the United States, the tournament saw #teamharrow ELITE TEAM’s Amanda Sobhy, Nele Gillis, Donna Urquhart, Salma Hany Ibrahim, Heba El Torky, Samantha Teran, and Rachael Grinham compete in the Pro Women Main Draw, with Sobhy and El Torky facing off in the Finals. The Men’s Main Draw had ELITE TEAM athletes Karim Abdel Gawad, Abdulla Al Tamimi and Laurens Jan Anjema compete, with Gawad making it through to the Finals.
