Michigan high school field hockey playoffs start Friday

The top seeds for the eight-day, 2009 Michigan state field hockey tournament are Ann Arbor Pioneer, Ann Arbor Huron, Bloomfield Hills Academy of the Sacred Heart and Bloomfield Hills Marian. The tournament concludes with the semis on Oct. 29 and finals on Oct. 31 at Detroit Country Day High School. Here’s the tournament bracket and you can look for further results here at MLive.
