New York state field hockey tournament semifinals, finals this weekend

The New York State Public High School Athletic Association field hockey tournament returns to Section 4 for the first time in 15 years Friday, and for just the fifth time since the tournament started, the section has a final-four team in each bracket. Greene (Class A), Maine-Endwell (Class B) and Marathon (Class C) are scheduled to play semifinal games on Friday. Winners advance to a final on Saturday.
