Selinsgrove wins a thriller to reach semis in PIAA field hockey tournament

Selinsgrove (Pa.) High School field hockey team survived its toughest test of the season on Saturday, using Ashley Youngman’s overtime goal to gain a dramatic 2-1 victory over Archbishop Carroll in a PIAA quarterfinal. That puts Selinsgrove in the state semifinals for the second time in four years, where they take on Donegal, a 5-1 winner over Indian Valley, on Tuesday. Read more at the Daily Item.
