Slideshow tells the tale of dramatic field hockey faceoff in Maryland playoffs

Check out this great slideshow from Severna Park’s dramatic 4-3 win over South River in a field hockey battle last Thursday for Maryland’s Class 4A East Region title. Goalie Ashley Dalisera stopped a right-side shot to seal the 4-3, penalty-stroke victory to give the team its 26th region title and kept alive its hopes of a fifth consecutive title and 19th since 1979.
