York High rolling along again in Maine

The York High field hockey team in Maine graduated 12 players from last year’s Class B state championship team, so coach Barb Marois didn’t want to set her expectations too high this fall. So much for that: Top-ranked York remained unbeaten with a 2-1 victory over third-ranked Wells on Tuesday. The Wildcats improved to 9-0 in Western Class B while Wells dropped to 7-2, each loss by one goal to York. Read more in Maine Today.
