Our embroidery team has an average of 15 years of experience putting stitching on all kinds of materials. Creating appliques using a combination of tackle twill and embroidery and is a delicate, time intensive and complex process. Our most popular items that we apply tackle twill to are sweatshirts, sweatpants, jackets, warm-ups and jerseys.

Like embroidery, an applique is perceived as a unique and high quality way to decorate your apparel. The use of tackle twill instead of all embroidery reduces the overall time and cost of the garment considerably, but attention to detail is very important to make sure everything is aligned properly. The additional weight an applique adds to a garment further enhances its perceived quality and in the case of hockey jerseys, the additional weight is desirable. They are most often used for hockey jerseys, baseball jerseys, jackets and sweatshirts with school logos.

We have the ability to create athletic numbers and names in tackle twill as well, so we can meet all of your custom uniform and accessory needs.

We welcome orders of all sizes. We have a minimum of 12 items for small run custom orders and we can accommodate runs of thousands of items for larger orders. The typical turnaround time is two weeks but can vary slightly based on our volume levels.

With the exception of a digitization fee, all of our applique charges are built into our pricing. Digitization prices can vary based on the size and complexity of the image, so it is charged separately. In most cases, your artwork is free if you provide a quality image for the design.
